Mr President Put The Sausages Down

During last evenings club day dinner break, club president and the race meeting clerk of course, Adam Bourke, just couldn’t get to the front of the BBQ line quickly enough. My spies have located the following picture evidence.

This picture clearly shows that he jumped the whole queue and helped himself to the goodies.

Pictures never lie. ;)

Position Vacant – CMS Timing Operator Needed

We have a position that has become vacant where we need a person who has a little bit of computer knowledge and is willing to help on club days with timing of the races.

Our usual CMS timing operator, Jack, unfortunately will not be able to help us until after August. So we need a person who is willing to help. Basically you are in charge of grid positions, race order, timing and finishing order.

We will need this person to start at the May club day, and full training is provided. It can be a mum, dad, brother sister or any one in general. Racing knowledge is a help.

If you are interested please contact Adam Bourke or anyone on the committee.

President

Come And Practice Under Lights This Friday

The club will be opening the gates at 9am on Friday for practice. Come along and get some practice for Saturday’s races. The track lights will be turned on at sunset for those who wish to do some testing under lights. Remember to bring your clear visors.

At dinner time, the club will have the BBQ going and John Chapman will be cooking up the snags. Come and have a feed and get some practice laps this Friday, April 22, 2011.

Positions Vacant – Treasurer And Membership Secretary Needed

Due to ill health our Membership Secretary Angela will be stepping down from her role. The committee would like to thank her for the effort she has put in, especially helping with the curly problems the new concept has thrown her. We wish her the best.

That now makes the Membership Secretaries position vacant. We need a person who is willing to step up from just being a member and help with the organizing of the memberships, licence questions and all that goes with it. Please send me an e-mail if you are interested. Training and support is provided and Angela will help the new person with any questions.

Also, our Treasurer is wishing to stand aside as he wants to concentrate on looking after the new canteen, so we need a person who is good with MYOB to put their hand up to give him a hand with the prospect of taking over in the future.

Please send me an e-mail if you are interested in either position.
