All members are asked to attend the Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 14/9/2010 at 7.30pm to cast their votes for the following positions.

The clubs second-hand transponders are now available for purchase and collection.

They can be picked up from either:
- Concept Karting, Factory 9 19-25 Grange Rd, Cheltenham
- Or from the club entry office on race morning prior to racing

Note, if collecting from Concept Karting, only cheque or cash will be accepted, no credit card or EFTPOS.

After various repairs have been undertaken, the track is now open for normal use.

Members are advised to be aware of mud and water due to the amount of recent rain.

A dismal, wet August Sunday morning greeted about 30 members, young and old, who turned up to assist at this months OGKRC working bee.

It was great to see some new faces that came along to help, along with the regular members that turn up to each working bee. The club and it's members thank you all for your time and efforts.

A special mention goes to Terry Steel who gave up some of his time, although today was his birthday. Thank you for helping, and happy birthday Terry.

A BBQ was enjoyed by those that braved the Melbourne weather to help their club.

Transpacific are re-profiling the drains on Deals Road and have been a great help to the club.

Big thanks to those members who brought the Bobcat, trench digger and excavator and put them to good use throughout the day.

The following jobs were taken care of:
- Repairs to picnic tables
- Preliminary repairs to back grand stand
- Trimming of trees, lawn mowing and whipper snipping
- Cleaning of finishers box
- Cleaning of canteen windows
- Cleaning of the grid and entry offices
- Emptying of bins
- Wrapping of blue barrels
- General cleaning of barn
- Removal of ivy from BBQ area
- Bobcat was used to level sand traps, the re-profiling of grounds, digging of trenches and installation of drainage pipes
- Removal of excess rain water from the track.

Due to the wet weather conditions, certain jobs we unable to be performed:
- Poisoning of weeds
- Painting of ripple strips
- Completion of drainage work
