The Monash Motorsport Formula SAE team uses our track for test days throughout the year. They are now the 2012 Formula SAE Australasian Champions for the fourth consecutive year. Congratulations to everyone involved!!!
I’m proud to say that Monash Motorsport are the 2012 Formula SAE Australasia Champions after the recent competition in Werribee. It has been a brilliant yet challenging weekend, and we are still coming to terms with our victory – coming first for the fourth year in a row. We achieved very convincing results across all events, leading to an overall score of 899.4 points (from a possible 1000). Second place was taken by Edith Cowan University (773.0 points) and third went to the University of Wollongong (698.4 points).
This has added to our very successful European campaign earlier in the year which led us to a world ranking of second (from over 500 teams globally).
