As outlined in the Oakleigh Go Kart Racing Club Statement of Purpose (Constitution) Rule 30 (1), the Oakleigh Go Kart Racing Club will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at 7.30 pm on Tuesday September 18 2018 in the club rooms.
As always “nibbles” and drinks at bar prices will be available on the night.
Over the years Oakleigh Go Kart Racing Club (OGKRC) has been very fortunate to be able to put one of our members names on our National Championship winners board.
Once again in 2018, the club has been lucky enough to add a new name, Lewis Francis.
The Club would like to congratulate Lewis on becoming the 2018 Cadet 9 Australian Karting Champion.
The Club would also like to congratulate James Sera in being Runner Up in the KA3 Senior Australian Karting Championship, and to congratulate all members on their results who competed in the 2018 Australian Kart Championship.
The August Club Day is on Saturday 25th August 2018. It is a Day/Night Meeting with at least the finals under lights.

The track will be closed all day Wednesday August 15 2018 for maintenance and will reopen on Thursday as per normal hours.
It’s night practise time again. Come along and bring your kart on Tuesday August 7 2018, from 5pm till 9:30pm. A BBQ Sausage Sizzle will be available.
This is a great time to get some night practice for the August Club Day, which is a Day/Night Meeting on Saturday August 25 2018.
To cover the cost of power, it’s $10 per family for Oakleigh members, $15 for non members.

Let’s all get out onto the track and have some fun.
There will be a working bee on Saturday July 21st 2018 from 9 am – 12 pm. The track will be closed during this time.
Please come and help your club to keep the track and grounds looking their best.
Night Practice – It’s on again Karters, Just in time for school holidays!
After a huge turnout for our night practice last month, the track will be again open for those who want to have a practice under lights. This is open to members from other clubs however you must have a valid KA licence and a compliant kart.
To cover the cost of power, it’s $10 per family for Oakleigh members, $15 for non members.
There will be a sausage sizzle and drinks for purchase.
Beginners and learners welcome.
